The Issue: Administrator rights are required to install and run pre-4.0 versions of the software on Vista.

The Solution:

After running setup.exe, you receive this error message when you double-click the program's desktop icon:

Here's how to set the program to run as an administrator: Right-click on the Master Your CDC desktop icon Click on Properties Click on the Compatibility tab Under Privilege Level, check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator" Click OK Double-click on the Master Your CDC desktop icon If the User Account Control window appears, click "Allow" to start the program Follow the on-screen prompts to activate the program

NOTE: Your login MUST have Administrator rights to use 2.0 or 1.0 in Vista. Unlike in previous Windows versions, if you install the program with Admin rights then change to User rights, you will be required to enter a valid Admin username and password each time you launch the program.
