Before you call, please follow these instructions to allow for faster service:

• Call from a location at or near your computer.
• Know exactly what you did before the problem occurred and the exact wording of any message that appeared on the screen.
• Know your network configuration, if any.
• Know what type of computer and operating system you're using (PC or Mac; Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000; or Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5, 10.6).
• Know how much available memory your system has (free hard drive space and RAM).
• Know which, if any, antivirus programs you are running.
• Know your software serial number.

Although McM Studyware GOLD is extremely reliable, occasionally installation or use may not proceed as expected. By reviewing the troubleshooting hints listed here, you can avoid a time-consuming technical support call and get back to studying as quickly as possible.

Please consult your computer and Windows manuals for directions on freeing space on your hard drive or RAM, changing video drivers, changing the Windows setup, etc. We are not able to help adjust your specific computer setup. Call the Windows (425.637.7098) technical support department if you need help with those instructions. Also, most bases have a PC Users Group you may call for this type of assistance.
